Treatment of patients underwent acute coronary syndrome according to the data of Russian multicentral prospective observational study
Russian multicentral prospective observational study of patients after exacerbation of coronary heart disease (CHD) has included 1,208 patients with Q- wave myocardial infarction (550 (45.5%)) as well as non-Q-wave myocardial infarction or unstable angina (658 (54,5%)). A greater prevalence of risk factors among this patient category, a rare use of modern methods of secondary prevention of atherosclerosis complications at prehospital stage, and the extremely low availability of surgical treatments for CHD were ascertained. Considering that the main characteristics of Russian patient’s sample correspond to the major international registries, the basic treatment rules for such patients are suitable to our country.
