The article presents the analysis of results of treatment of 223 patients with 2-3 degree chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), which developed against the background of varicose vein disease and postthrombophlebitic disease. The results of treatment with nicotinic acid + troxerutin, Aescusan + Actovegin, and irregular systemic and topical therapy with phlebotonics and use of compression hosiery were compared. It was shown that the combination treatment of CVI using Aescusan + Actovegin is the most effective method and leads to a decrease of fibrinogen levels and prothrombin index in the peripheral blood , reduce swelling and pain syndrome, and leads to greater healing of trophic ulcers. Thus, the use of phlebotropic drugs (Aescusan) in combination with Actovegin allows to improve clinical outcomes, reduce the length of hospital stay and reduce treatment costs.
