A special place in the systemic treatment of psoriasis belongs to immunosuppressive drugs, which can lead to changes in condition and function of liver. On account of hepatotoxicity, immunosuppressive therapy of psoriasis should be accompanied by the use of hepatoprotectors. In particular, Heptral (ademetionine) - a biologically active compound with detoxication, regenerative, antioxidant, antifibrotic and neuroprotective properties – is used as an accompanying therapy to minimize the hepatotoxicity of immunosuppressive drugs.
