Outpatient Management Of Patients After Myocardial Infarction

Patients with acute myocardial infarction after discharge requires competent outpatient management to reduce the risk of further aggravation of ischemic heart disease, sudden death, prevention of myocardial remodeling, and development of heart failure. It has been established that outpatient monitoring contributes to patient's treatment compliance [1]. The present review reflects current approaches to decision of key problems of ambulant cases: maintenance of adequate myocardial revascularization, modification of risk factors, as well as the selection of drug therapy, taking into account efficacy and safety of long-term medication.
