The use of an innovative approach to the rehabilitation of children with central nervous system damage (clinical cases)

Background. The effectiveness of rehabilitation measures in real-life neuropediatrics depends on thoughtful involvement of not only specialists of borderline medical disciplines into the recovery process of a child, but also on timely use and knowledge of new innovative instrumental and medicinal capabilities, understanding the mechanisms for their combined and effective use. Description of a series of clinical cases. The article presents 2 clinical observations showing that the inclusion of innovative, advanced medical technologies in the complex rehabilitation of children with psychoverbal development delay and autistic symptoms significantly accelerates the process of formation of higher mental and speech functions, development of communication skills. Conclusion. The above mentioned clinical observations and other cases indicate that adequate assessment of the somatic status, its energy functional capabilities and, if necessary, timely neurometabolic, neuroprotective therapy occupy a special place.
