PHARMACOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF ANTIMICROBIAL THERAPY OF POSTPARTUM ENDOMETRITIS

The aim of the review was to summarize the available literature data on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antibiotics most often used for antimicrobial therapy of postpartum endometritis (β-lactams, aminoglycosides, fluoroquinolones, and macrolides). Based on the information studied, recommendations on the rational choice and optimization of the use of antimicrobial agents in postpartum endometrium are presented.
