RATIONAL THERAPY OF COMBINED UROGENITAL INFECTIONS: ANALYSIS OF CURRENT TREND

The article presents current views on pharmacotherapy of sexually transmitted infections (STI). Particular attention is paid to the combined STI, or co-infections of the urogenital tract. The data from epidemiological studies, personal experience of the authors, as well as a number of recent Russian and International recommendations, a consensuses on the management of patients with STIs are provided. The importance of evidence-based medicine for efficient diagnosis and successful treatment of urogenital infections is discussed.
