Prospects for Solcoseryl use in the therapy of dyscirculatory encephalopathy
The results of study, which included 243 patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy (DE) receiving Solcoseryl at a dose of 2.0 ml/daily parenterally for 25 days (2 courses per year), are presented. Solcoseryl in combination with antihypertensives and antithrombotic drugs has a strong clinical effect and causes regression of neurologic symptoms. We observed significant clinical improvement in patients with various stages of DE after the course of therapy with Solkoseril. Complex treatment using Solcoseryl in patients with DE led to the significant reduction of risk of disease progression and reduction of risk of transient ischemic attacks and strokes compared with control group of patients receiving only basic therapy.
