Efficacy of arterial hypertension therapy in the case of pipofezine prescribing to patients of old age with affective disorders
The study found that 6-month Azaphen (pipofezin) administration in elderly patients with arterial hypertension (AH) effectively eliminates the anxiety-depressive disorders, significantly improves the quality of life and improves cognitive-mnestical function. Against the background of combination therapy with Azaphen, patients have an additional antihypertensive effect, improvement of the left ventricle geometry, and normalization of vegetative homeostasis.
