ANTITUMOR EFFECTS OF AKVADETRIM - VITAMIN D AQUEOUS MICELLAR SOLUTION

The article presents the results of evaluation of antitumor action of vitamin D aqueous micellar solution (Akvadetrim) on the growth and metastatic spread of malignant tumors in 50 F1 hybrid mice. As the tumor model, transplanted epidermoid Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC) was used. Akvadetrim, vitamin D aqueous micellar solution, significantly inhibits metastatic spread of LLC referring to the list of tumor systems, mandatory for the evaluation of potential anti-tumor and anti-metastatic agents at the pre-clinical level.
