Pharmateca is a peer–reviewed scientific and practical medical journal aimed at internists, pediatricians, cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, dermatologists, obstetricians and gynecologists, urologists, oncologists, neurologists, rheumatologists and doctors of other specialties. The journal "Pharmateca" has been published since 1994, Starting from the first issues of the journal, its pages contain information about modern medicines, their therapeutic effects, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, side effects, intended for practicing physicians; highlights the latest achievements of medical science and technology, significant clinical trials of medicines, the results of international and Russian congresses and conferences. From 2002 to 2017, the editorial board was headed by Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Yuri Borisovich Belousov, and a number of leading Russian experts joined the board. The magazine's readership is expanding the publication is read by practicing doctors, heads of medical institutions and universities, research institutes, heads of departments, students and applicants. The Editorial Board of the Pharmateca journal includes leading Russian specialists in the main fields of clinical medicine 64 doctors of medical sciences. All of them are actively involved in the creation of the journal and have confirmed their consent to join the Editorial Board. All issues of the journal are thematic and dedicated to specific areas of clinical medicine. The magazine is published with a frequency of 10 issues per year. The volume of a full-color issue averages 160-280 stripes. The circulation of the magazine exceeds 25 thousand copies. The circulation is certified by the National Circulation Service. Pharmateca magazine is distributed by subscription, distributed at all medical congresses, congresses and conferences in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as at training cycles for doctors and students.

The journal is included in the list of publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC). Every year, within the framework of the Pharmateca journal, edited by M.B. Antsiferov, Chief Freelance Endocrinologist at the Moscow Department of Health, Chief Physician at the Endocrinological Dispensary of the Moscow Department of Health, MD, Professor, a collection of selected scientific articles on endocrinology "Modern Aspects of Pharmacotherapy of endocrine diseases" is published. The collection is dedicated to the Moscow City Congress of Endocrinologists.
